How To Use Data SIM Card

  • Insert data SIM card to your mobile device upon arrive your destination country
  • Turn On Data Roaming & Mobile Data
  • Wait 3-5 minutes to connected
  • Do Not Insert SIM card at Malaysia
  • Days validity will start counting once insert the SIM
  • Data refresh & plan validity are based on Malaysia Time (GMT+8), calendar day.
  • SIM card is Data-Only and does not come with a number. Traditional calls or SMS text messages are not permitted. You can use Apps like WhatsApp/WeChat to access local data to make calls or send messages.
  • ∙ Kindly contact us via WhatsApp’s support number if you cannot use the SIM or any Technical Issue.

How To Add/Install eSIM

Please add the eSIM on the same day with your departure or arrival in travel destination. To add the eSIM, you have to connect the WIFI or hotspot first.
Notes: eSIM activation is following Malaysia Time zone (GMT+8) , 12am-11:59pm will be counted as one completed section day of the package.

How to check the remaining data plan

1.Go to Settings > Mobile Data > Data Usage (current roaming period). The data usage will refresh once you insert the new SIM card or install a new eSIM.
2. Alternatively, you can contact our WhatsApp customer support for assistance with checking the data via the telco operator’s system.

How to buy an additional data plan

Unfortunately, it is not possible to add data to the SIM card or eSIM. If your data is finished, you can purchase a new SIM card or eSIM.

  1. Setting > Wireless & Network / Connections > Mobile Network > Access Point Names
  2. Add new APN
  3. Insert APN: Internet (This is just an example, please insert the correct APN based on the APN list above)
  4. Back – Switch On Data Roaming and Mobile Data for our SIM card
  5. Restart your mobile phone.

iPhone (IOS)

  1. Setting > Mobile Data > Mobile Data Network
  2. Insert APN: Internet (This is just an example, please insert the correct APN based on the APN list above)
  3. Back – Switch On Data Roaming and Mobile Data for our SIM card
  4. Restart your mobile phone.

CAUTION: INTERNET NOT WORKING 99% DUE TO SETTING PROBLEM: 

  1. APN Setting (Mobile Data > Mobile Data Network > Insert APN) 
  2.  Mobile Data / Data Roaming Disable
  3. Network Operator Setting (Setting –Mobile Network – Network Operator)
  4. Enable Back Data & Data Roaming
  5. Restart your Mobile Phone.

Closure Announcement – Outbound, Corporate & Ticketing Business, H.I.S. Travel (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd.
Following a strategic review of our operations, H.I.S. Travel (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. will cease all Outbound, Corporate, and Ticketing business activities effective 28 February 2026.
This decision is part of a broader business restructuring initiative to realign our resources, improve operational efficiency, and focus on core growth areas.
Additionally, H.I.S. Malaysia will withdraw or terminate any corporate credit contracts, if any, effective on the same date.
Please note that H.I.S. Malaysia will continue to operate as usual, primarily focusing on new business initiatives and Inbound tour operations.
