What is Shared Transfer

  • Definition: A transport service shared with other travelers heading in the same direction (e.g. from airport to city center).
  • Pickup/Drop-off: Usually from a designated meeting point (e.g. airport arrival hall, hotel lobby, shuttle stop).
  • Schedule: Fixed or semi-fixed schedule; may wait for other passengers.
  • Vehicle Type: Typically van, shuttle bus, or small coach.
  • Stops: May include multiple stops along the route.
  • Convenience: Medium – you might walk to/from a nearby meeting point.

What is Seat-in-Coach (SIC)

  • Definition: A shared coach service that picks up and drops off directly at your hotel or specified address.
  • Pickup/Drop-off: Direct to your hotel/lodging, no need to go to a meeting point.
  • Schedule: Pre-scheduled with a time window; driver may stop at multiple hotels.
  • Vehicle Type: Coach or van, depending on destination.
  • Stops: Several, as it covers multiple travelers’ hotels.
  • Convenience: Higher – no walking needed, but may have longer ride due to hotel stops.
